Sirius has been thriving in his foster home since January 2026, and he just keeps getting better. He’s fully housetrained and does wonderfully with other dogs, cats, and kids—he’s truly the kind of dog who fits right into family life.
While Sirius may be the biggest of his six siblings, it’s his heart that really sets him apart. He’s a sweet, easygoing boy who finds happiness in the simple things—a kind word, a gentle “atta boy,” or a quick pat is all it takes to make his day. His calm, loving nature makes him such a joy to be around.
Sirius is ready to find a family who will appreciate his big heart and give him the forever home he deserves.
Could you be the one to give Sirius a lifetime of simple, happy moments?
All of our animals are spayed or neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments encountered during veterinary examinations. The adoption fee helps cover a portion of these services and allows us to continue saving lives.
Sublime K9 in Jefferson City offers a basic 4-week training program for both owner and dog, covering leash skills and basic commands. This program is available at no cost to Sirius’s adopter if interested.
Submitting an application does not obligate you to adopt. If your application is a good fit for Sirius—or another dog—a volunteer will be in touch as soon as possible.
Noah’s Arc is volunteer-run and not open to the public. Meet and greets are by appointment only.
