After her original owner passed away, Sadie was taken in by a relative who, through no fault of her own, wasn’t prepared for the energy and needs of an active working-breed dog. Sadie’s future became uncertain, and she came heartbreakingly close to being euthanized simply for not fitting into the wrong lifestyle. Thankfully, she was given another chance—and now she’s looking for the right home where she can truly thrive.

Sadie is everything you’d expect from a Heeler/Aussie mix: smart, energetic, and full of life. She loves to move, explore, and stay busy, so she’ll do best in a home with space to run and an adopter who can keep up with her active spirit. Whether it’s hikes, long walks, or a fenced yard for zoomies, Sadie is happiest when she’s on the go.

She’s also a friendly, social girl who enjoys being around people. With proper introductions and a meet-and-greet, we believe Sadie has the potential to live with another dog as well.
