Ravioli - French Bulldog Dog for Adoption in Sinking Spring, Pennsylvania

RAVIOLI IS READY TO FIND HER FOREVER FAMILY!

Remember that ridiculously cute little Frenchie who had everyone falling in love before we even had a chance to say "please don't ask to adopt her yet"? Well... we have an update!

Four-month-old Ravioli was surrendered to Zoe's House because of a heart murmur, so this tiny nugget had her very important date with cardiology. And we have some GOOD NEWS!

Ravioli has a small ventricular septal defect (VSD) - essentially, a tiny hole between the chambers of her heart. The good news is that it is not currently affecting her, and her cardiologist feels that as she grows, there is a very good chance it will continue to improve on its own. Because of that, surgical intervention is not currently expected to be necessary.

BUT... before everyone starts throwing their applications at us, there is a very important asterisk.

Ravioli will need continued medical follow-up, including a cardiology recheck in approximately six months, when she is closer to a year old, to make sure that her VSD is continuing to improve and that she does not require any additional treatment or ongoing medical management.

And now for the really fun stuff...

This little lady is ADORABLE. She is a bit nervous and needs a family willing to give her time, patience, and a little grace while she figures out that the world isn't nearly as scary as she thinks it is. Once she feels comfortable? GAME ON.

She loves giving kisses, playing, and hanging out with other dogs. In fact, she seems to really thrive with a confident, social dog who can show her the ropes and help her feel safe.

Her ideal home will be:
Patient and understanding
Plenty of toys
Committed to continued socialization and confidence building
Preferably with another confident, dog-friendly companion
Prepared to continue her cardiology care and follow-up
And, naturally, prepared to occasionally hand over some money from the wallet because having a French Bulldog is a lifestyle choice.

Ravioli doesn't need someone looking for a perfect puppy. She needs someone willing to grow with her, advocate for her, continue her care, and give her the lifetime of love and commitment she deserves.

She may have a tiny hole in her heart, but she's got a LOT of love to give.
