At 9 years old, River has settled into the good life-she enjoys relaxing with her people, but don't let her age fool you! She still has plenty of pep in her step and loves going for walks and getting out to explore. She's currently working on losing a little weight, so regular walks and a healthy routine will be an important part of helping her feel her very best.

River would likely be happiest as an only dog or with another calm, easygoing dog who will respect her space. She isn't looking for a wild playmate-she'd much rather have a peaceful home where she can relax, be loved, and enjoy her people.

River is a spayed and up to date on all medical care. She is a very sweet girl looking for a comfortable place to lay her head. She is being fostered near Harrisburg, PA. All members of the family, including resident dogs must come to a meet and greet at River's foster home prior to adoption.
