Meet Rex - The Life of the Party with a Heart Full of Cuddles
If you're looking for a dog who will make you laugh every day, Rex is your guy! This happy-go-lucky 2-year-old French Bulldog weighs 20.3 pounds and truly believes life was made just for him-and he makes the most of every moment. Whether he's zooming around the house, chasing a rolling ball, carrying around his favorite squeaky toy, or soaking up a sunny spot on the floor, Rex is always ready for his next adventure.
Rex has a personality that's impossible not to love. His adorable wiggly walk and slinky-like run are guaranteed to make you smile, and when it's cuddle time, don't expect him to wait for an invitation-he'll happily climb right into your lap or snuggle up next to you. If another dog is already resting, Rex has no problem using them as his pillow!
This smart little guy thrives on routine and learns quickly, especially when treats are involved. He already knows commands like eat, walk, kennel, outside, potty, and drop it/leave it. He's potty trained as long as his family pays attention to his cues, walks nicely on a leash, enjoys car rides, and even does well in a stroller. At bedtime, he happily settles in after enjoying his favorite lick mat and sleeps soundly through the night.
Rex loves being close to his people and enjoys having canine companions around. He plays wonderfully with most other dogs, loves sharing his toys, and gets the zoomies with his furry friends. While he does experience a little separation anxiety, he's making great progress and would thrive in a home where someone is around much of the day. A retired adopter, someone who works from home, or a family with another playful dog would be an excellent match.
Rex does have environmental allergies that require lifelong management. He must remain on his allergy medications and any recommended skin care. His routine helps keep him feeling his best, and he's excellent about taking his medications and receiving treatments.
At the end of the day, Rex is everything you could want in a best friend-playful, affectionate, funny, and incredibly loving. He's happiest when he's with his family, making everyone laugh with his silly antics before curling up beside them for a well-earned cuddle. If you're ready for a loyal little shadow with a huge personality, Rex can't wait to meet you!

Many NMDR dogs have had limited prior socialization and may need time, patience, and support as they adjust to home life. Skills such as house training, leash walking, and handling may require continued practice. Progress will vary by individual dog. Homes with older children are often a good fit, depending on temperament. To learn more about NMDR and our adoption process, please visit our website.
