Meet Hero - A Gentle Little Heart Learning to Trust
Hero is a Shih Tzu who weighs 12 pounds and has the sweetest, calmest little spirit. He's still a bit shy as he adjusts to his new world, but his curiosity is already beginning to lead him toward all the good things waiting for him.
Hero loves having the freedom to explore his surroundings, taking his time to investigate new sights, smells, and experiences. He's learning that he's safe and that the people around him can be trusted, and every gentle interaction helps him become a little more comfortable.
He gets along well with other dogs and enjoys their company. Hero could happily share his home with a friendly canine companion, but he would also be perfectly content as the only dog with a patient family ready to give him plenty of love and attention.
With his quiet nature and gentle heart, Hero doesn't need someone to rush him. He simply needs a family willing to let him settle in at his own pace and show him, day after day, that he is safe, wanted, and loved.
Hero's journey is just beginning, and he's ready to find the family who will help him discover how wonderful his new life can be.
