Meet Bonjour Lafleur, a 4-year-old French Bulldog who is approximately 50% gremlin and 50% baked potato. Bonjour would happily spend his days lounging in a sunny patch, snoring as loudly as possible, and perfecting the art of relaxation. Clearly, he is solar powered!

Bonjour can be slow to warm up to new people, but once he decides you're one of his people, his inner lap dog comes out. He loves spending time with his foster mom and especially enjoys neighborhood walks, although he has decided that potty breaks should only happen when he is off leash-and even then, he likes to make everyone wait for it.

He's still getting comfortable in his new environment and is currently a little hit or miss with other dogs. For now, he seems happiest having his own space while he figures things out, so we'll continue learning more about his dog preferences as he settles in.

Bonjour has also made it very clear that crate training is an outrageous suggestion and one he strongly protests. For now, he's perfectly happy sleeping in his own bed. Of course, he does require regular nighttime check-ins to make sure his people are still within approximately three feet. Priorities!

Bonjour Lafleur is a charming, quirky Frenchie who needs a little patience while he adjusts and learns to trust. Give him some sunshine, a comfy bed, a good walk, and a little time to warm up, and you just might discover the biggest lap dog hiding inside this adorable baked potato.
