Meet Scotch Macallan a 15 lb male French Bulldog
Scotch Macallan is a sweet, handsome young Frenchie with a big personality and a slightly more grounded approach to life than his brother, Rosco. While Rosco is usually ready to launch himself into whatever is happening, Scotch is a little more observant and focused-but he's still a playful, energetic young guy with plenty of Frenchie mischief!
Scotch and Rosco are bonded brothers and should be adopted together. They love playing with each other, exploring, and having their brother nearby. Scotch is also very sweet with people and loves being part of the family.
My Perfect Home
My dream home is with my brother and a loving family who will give us patience, structure, affection, and continued training. A securely fenced yard or safe outdoor space is a must because I'm FAST!
I'm still learning the basics of living in a home, so my family should be prepared to continue working on house training, leash manners, and self-control.
Personality
I'm sweet, affectionate, playful, curious, and energetic. I'm a little more level-headed than Rosco and can be surprisingly focused-especially when treats are involved!
I love playing with my brother, exploring, and spending time with my people. I'm still learning how to manage my excitement when I see other dogs and people, but I'm food motivated and eager to learn.
Walks & Leash Manners
I'm still working on being a polite walking buddy. Other dogs and people can be very exciting for me, and I may become distracted or overstimulated when I see them.
My future family should be comfortable continuing positive-reinforcement training, working on focus and calm behavior, and giving me appropriate space from exciting triggers.
House Training
I'm not house trained yet, so my forever family will need to continue potty training with a consistent schedule, supervision, patience, and positive reinforcement.
Stairs & Car Rides
Stairs: I fly up and fly down!
Car rides: I enjoy riding in the car, especially when I'm with my brother and family.

How I Am With Other Dogs
My brother is my best friend, and we love playing together. However, unfamiliar dogs are a different story.
I can become very excited and overstimulated when I see other dogs, especially while on leash. Because of this, I should not currently be considered a dog who can freely socialize with unfamiliar dogs or participate in uncontrolled group-dog environments.
My future family should be prepared for structured introductions, management, and continued positive-reinforcement training. As I become more comfortable and learn better self-control, my foster family will continue assessing how I do in different situations.
