Apple is both house trained and crate trained, making the transition into her new home much easier. She enjoys spending time with other dogs and loves having canine friends to play with, so she'd be happy in a home with another playful pup or as your one-and-only with opportunities for socialization.

Like many hounds, Apple is curious and enjoys exploring the world around her. She's currently learning good leash manners and can get excited on walks, so she does pull at times. With consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement, she's sure to continue making great progress.

If you are interested in adopting Apple, please submit an inquiry directly to Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet's age.

**Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. **
