Rubie is a beautiful 7-month-old Aussie mix with a bright personality and an even brighter future ahead of her! At 30 pounds, she is expected to reach about 45 pounds when fully grown, making her the perfect medium-sized companion for an active family.

This sweet girl has never met a stranger. Rubie absolutely loves people and is always ready to greet new friends with a wagging tail and a happy smile. Her affectionate nature makes her a wonderful companion who enjoys being part of whatever her family is doing.

Rubie is crate trained and doing a great job learning her house-training skills. With continued consistency and encouragement, she'll have those puppy lessons mastered in no time. She is eager to please and enjoys learning, making her a fun dog to work with.

Rubie gets along well with other dogs and enjoys having canine friends to play with. Whether she's romping around the yard or sharing toys, she's happy to join in the fun. At the same time, her people-focused personality means she could also thrive as an only dog, soaking up all the love and attention from her family.

If you are interested in adopting Rubie, please submit an inquiry directly to Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet's age.

**Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. **
