Some dogs have a story that changes you, and Toby is one of them.
At just 9 months old, this handsome Exotic Bully has already overcome more than most dogs face in a lifetime. As a puppy, Toby battled multiple episodes of untreated pneumonia, which took a toll on his lungs. It has taken months of love, veterinary care, patience, and determination to get him healthy enough for adoption, and we are so proud to say that his time has finally come.
Because of the things he went through as a puppy Toby is a low-energy boy who cannot tolerate long periods of strenuous activity. He's perfectly content with a relaxed lifestyle, spending his days close to the people he loves.
And speaking of love... Toby is the definition of a Velcro dog. If you're looking for a loyal companion who wants to be your shadow, you've found him. Whether you're watching TV, working from home, or simply relaxing, Toby's favorite place in the world is right by your side.
Now let's talk about his biggest obsession... TOYS! We don't just mean he likes them-we mean he LOVESSSSSS them! Stuffed toys, chew toys, squeaky toys... if it belongs in the toy box, Toby is all in. Watching him happily play is guaranteed to make you smile.
Toby also gets along wonderfully with other dogs and even cats, making him a great addition to many households. The only thing he asks is that his meals be his own. Toby does have food guarding tendencies, so he must be fed separately from other pets to ensure everyone stays safe and comfortable.
He thrives on a consistent potty schedule and is a very good boy about using potty pads while crated.
Toby isn't looking for a family to take him on marathons or endless adventures. He's looking for someone who will cherish him exactly as he is-a resilient little survivor with a huge heart, a goofy personality, and endless love to give.
After everything he's been through, Toby deserves a home where he can finally leave his difficult past behind and spend the rest of his life surrounded by love, comfort, and the people he adores.

-All current pets in the home need to be spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines and on veterinarian prescribed flea/tick/heart worm prevention.
-Everyone living in the home, including all resident dogs, must be present at the meet and greet located in the Southwest Ohio area.
-We DO NOT ship dogs!!!
