Meet Erika - a resilient little bulldog with a big personality and an even bigger heart.
Erika came into rescue needing bowel impaction surgery, and since then she's been fully glow-up mode. She's now had her impaction surgery, her spay, and her breathing procedures, and she's feeling better than ever. This girl is happy, playful, and ready to enjoy life the way she was meant to.
Erika loves her toys, enjoys being outside, and is always up for some fun. She's very dog friendly, though she does have a slightly bossy streak (we like to call it leadership skills). She's crate trained and almost fully potty trained - any accidents are usually just a timing issue.
She's also your classic bulldog shadow. If you're moving, she's moving. If you're sitting, she's right next to you. Personal space? She doesn't believe in it, and honestly, you won't mind.
Erika is a very sweet girl who will make an amazing addition to just about any home.

ABOUT: ENGLISH BULLDOG DOG BREED
The English Bulldog is a distinctive and beloved breed known for its sturdy build, wrinkled face, and gentle temperament. Originating in England, these dogs are characterized by their muscular frame, powerful jaw, and unique pushed in nose. Despite their tough appearance, English Bulldogs are affectionate, loyal, and great with children, making them excellent family pets. Due to their brachycephalic nature, they may struggle with overheating and breathing issues, requiring attentive care and moderate exercise to keep them healthy and happy.
