Bottle Bulldog - Dolly - English Bulldog Dog for Adoption in Fairfax Station, Virginia

-ESTIMATE WEIGHT FULL GROWN: estimated 40 lbs but compact!

-KNOWN WITH DOGS: LOVE meeting other dogs and would make a great companion!

-KNOWN WITH CATS: Have not met a cat, BUT would absolutely adjust to a feline family member.

-KNOWN WITH KIDS: Would be a FANTASTIC family pet!

-KNOWN CUES: We are working on minding, and coming for treats and attention. The older they get the more they will learn!

-KNOWN HOUSEBREAKING AND/OR CRATING: Other then sleeping in a created space and using puppy pads, they are on the way to being housetrained and crate trained! Being so little, it is a bit of a journey but they are smart and will absolutely learn.

-KNOWN LIKES: Attention, love, cuddles, being held, play time, treats, and FOOD

-KNOWN DISLIKES: Being left alone TOOOOOO long.

ABOUT THIS ANIMAL: Part of a litter of three, these adorable bulldog mix puppies cannot wait to meet their new family! Born at a partner shelter, their mom was not very attentive (though VERY VERY sweet with the shelter staff, she just.... kept forgetting she had puppies!) so they have been raised by amazing volunteers with Homeward Trails since they were just WEE milk drinking fiends. They are well socialized, and will transition beautifully into a new home.

While Mom was a bulldog with some mixed coloring, we are not sure about dad's breed. BUT you can certainly see the bull dog characteristics coming out in these pups faces.

They are ready to go home on October 22nd, JUST in time for some of the most ADORABLE trick or treat costumes EVER

Notes from the foster:
Dolly lives up to her name as America's sweetheart. She's a darling girl who's patient with her brothers and will just wait her turn for food and affection (even though she loves both!). She'll seek her people out to sit in their laps but also is happy to find a toy to play with on her own. She lives with her two brothers, three bigger foster dog siblings, and five human kiddos. She's truly a doll!

The English Bulldog is a distinctive and beloved breed known for its sturdy build, wrinkled face, and gentle temperament. Originating in England, these dogs are characterized by their muscular frame, powerful jaw, and unique pushed in nose. Despite their tough appearance, English Bulldogs are affectionate, loyal, and great with children, making them excellent family pets. Due to their brachycephalic nature, they may struggle with overheating and breathing issues, requiring attentive care and moderate exercise to keep them healthy and happy.
