ABOUT THIS ANIMAL:
Meet Peanut! This adorable young mutt is looking for a forever home! He is friendly, though VERY vocal with new people and dogs. He is ALL bark but absolutely no bite. He just gets soooooo excited. He'd love the opportunity to meet new dog friends in his new home. Perhaps not the best tenant in an apartment.... but a great companion for an individual or family. He has mid sized energy where he has large spurts, but will tire out after a 20 minute walk.
While he is still growing, we do not anticipate him getting very big! Perhaps 30lbs or so?
Notes from the foster:
He likes to spend time with you. Very playful. This dog needs a home with space to run and be free. He will get tired after a 20 minute walk. Does well in a cage. We give the dog treats after peeing and pooping. If dog tries to take treat fast he listens to "easy" and gets it more calmly. The dog will run with you. Loves to chase squirrels. You can rough house with him and won't hurt you. You can put your hand in his mouth when rough housing and won't bite either. Teeth are sharp as he still has baby teeth. Does not sleep with blanket but could. He like belly rubs if you can calm him down to get to it. Does great in the bath as we routinely bathed him. The dog is curious.
