-KNOWN WITH DOGS: Probably, the resident dogs in her foster home give her space and she has been too busy with her puppies to play with the other dogs.

-KNOWN WITH CATS: Not good with cats

-KNOWN WITH KIDS: yes, Rebecca lived in a home with kids ages 4, 8 and 16.

-KNOWN CUES: none yet, but she is eager to learn

-KNOWN HOUSEBREAKING AND/OR CRATING: mostly house trained, and working on both

-KNOWN LIKES: following her nose, walks, hikes, playing

-KNOWN DISLIKES: none yet


ABOUT THIS ANIMAL:

Rebecca was found wandering Alleghany County as a pregnant stray and brought to the local shelter to have her puppies. But she doesn't let her time as a stray or a single mom get her down. Rebecca is very trusting of people and sweet with everyone she meets. Her puppies are old enough to be out in the world on their own and now Rebecca is focused on finding a family of her own.

In her foster home, Rebecca is discovering the joys of being an empty nester with the help of her foster family and resident dog. She goes with them on long walks in the neighborhood and hikes with the family and their kids (ages 4-16). She follows her nose (but always walks nicely on leash), and leads the way for a post-walk nap when the family gets home.
