Name: Pansy

Breed: Doberman Pincher

Sex: female

Age: 2-3 years old

Weight: 70 pounds

Medical Needs : Spay is Scheduled on 10/21 at BVSPCA in Dover is a condition of adoption.

Because of this, foster to adopt family must live within 1 hour of Dover and be willing to bring her back for the appointment.

House Broke: Yes

Crate Trained: Yes. She would much rather be with her people

Good in the car: Yes

Good on a leash: Yes. Does pull some.

Energy Level: Umm.... well she is a doberman... she has lots of enery... she loves to play. She will settle down when out. She has been learning to keep her feet on the floor and not play rough.

Does dog need a fenced in yard: No but she does love the freedom of the run off the leash.

Dog Friendly: Yes. No toy/small dogs. Shes got way too much play for them.

Does the dog need to be in a home with another dog: No but if she had another dog to play with it would really help get her energy out. She really like playing with her foster sister.

Cat Friendly: Unknown but she will try to chase any furry little creature in the yard.. rabbits... so I dont think it would be a good thing unless it was a very dog savvy cat. if it runs .... she probably will play the game.

Kid Friendy: She has meet older kids and did fine. Her size and high energy and learning not to jump up would not be a good mix with smaller children.

Youngest age children: while she may do fine with any age kids with close adult supervision to teach her how she is expected to behave. I would reccomend 8-10 years old with adult supervision.

Special Traits about Foster dog:

Pansy is a super sweet crazy kinda dog. She would definitely be the class clown at school. She really wants to hang out with the family. She loves to explore and smell all the smells. She can be a little reserved with new people but it doesnt last long.
