Housebroken: Yes, though he may initially try to mark inside. Keeping him on a leash during his two weeks acclimation period will help with this.

Good in a crate: He can sometimes sing his song of sadness that he's not with his humans but he is usually good.

Good in the car: He pants and is excited at first but settles down quickly.

Good on a leash: Yes, D'Bear can be a little zig zaggy but he doesn't pull. Overall he's got solid walking skills.

Energy level: Low. Your energy is his energy. You want to walk, so does he, chilling on the couch, he's right there with you, doing some yardwork and he's your landscaping helper.

Need a fenced in yard: No, he will be fine with leashed walks.

Dog Friendly: D'Bear is dog neutral outside on walks with the resident dogs and trots along right beside them. Inside, he does not care to share his living space, so he will need to be the only dog in the house.

He's short and stout, like the teapot, and sports a long and beautiful coat. And even though he's on a weight loss journey he's as spry as can be. He walks a mile each day and can run and jump with the best of them. This loving boy is ready to start his second act!
