Meet Tina — a miniature Dachshund with a giant heart!
Born May 25, 2025
Picture Tina lying in the warm grass, her big brown eyes taking in the world with gentle curiosity. At just 6 pounds, she may be tiny, but her heart is anything but small.
She’ll be turning one soon, and she’s every bit the joyful puppy — full of energy, kisses, and love for kids. One of her favorite things is snuggling under the blankets, tucked in close to her people. She enjoys walks, loves to play, and gets along beautifully with dogs and even cats. She’s up to date on vaccinations and will be spayed and microchipped very soon.
But the first thing people notice about Tina isn’t her size.
It’s her smile.
Tina has a way of looking up at you that feels like she already knows you — like she’s been waiting for you. Her eyes sparkle with kindness, asking to be scooped up and held. And once she’s in your arms, she melts into you as if she’s found the safest place in the world.
She’s a true love bug. A little shy on the first day, perhaps, but by the next, she’s all affection and warmth.
Tina adores cuddles, closeness, and being part of her person’s daily life. But don’t let her snuggly side fool you — she’s also a cheerful little adventurer. She trots proudly on her leash, ears perked, taking in every new sound and scent.
Despite her small size, Tina has a big social circle. She happily plays with dogs of all shapes and sizes — from gentle senior German Shepherds to fluffy Great Pyrenees, energetic Poodles, fellow Chihuahuas, and sweet Lhasa Apsos. She doesn’t care about breed or size; if you want to play or share a sunny patch of grass, she’s all in.
At home, Tina is crate trained and seems fully housetrained, especially when kept on a consistent schedule. She’s learning all the routines that help dogs thrive in a loving home.
The only thing missing is her person.
Someone who smiles when her little ears perk up across the room. Someone who wants a loyal companion for walks, couch snuggles, and quiet evenings.
Because Tina has so much love stored inside that tiny 6‑pound body.
She just needs a home where she can give it.
And when she looks up at you with those warm brown eyes, you might hear the question she’s quietly asking:
“Are you the one I’ve been waiting for?”
Make Tina Yours — Here’s How:
Tina will be spayed and microchipped soon, is fully vaccinated, and would thrive with a dog‑loving adopter who understands she has so much to offer but may need a little time to settle into her new family.

Understanding transport: Once everything is all approved, dogs are scheduled on transport using AJC Rescue & Transport (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100083418067425). Transport means dogs are carefully and thoughtfully moved via scheduled air conditioned/heated vans from our doggy ranch in Fulshear, TX to a location near you. Each transport consists of a team of two drivers who can alternate. This is how we communicate in real time. The driver who is not driving, will be updating the group chat. You will be included in this group chat to track your dog through transport. You will also be given exact location and scheduled time of arrival. Our drivers do everything possible to run on-time however, things such as traffic, weather etc. can affect arrival time. You will updated regarding delays or possible early arrival. Keep in mind, dogs on transport stop for bathroom, walk and food breaks. For safety, all dogs are crated during transport.
We use what we think is the best dog transport service in the region and have for years - Andrea and her crew really offer first class transport!
