DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Meet Pup Gideon! Gideon and his brother, Pup Figaro, came to us from a crowded shelter in Alabama where adoptions were scarce. They are now safe, healthy, and ready to find their forever homes — could that be with you? Gideon is a sweet Lab mix with a heart full of love. He is friendly, affectionate, and playful, and gets along great with other dogs. At his young age, he is in his prime for training and socialization. Whether you're a single person, a couple, or a family, Gideon is ready to be your loyal companion and bring joy to your home. He is fully vetted and ready to go. Apply today — your new best friend is waiting!
Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.
Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.
Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
