Piper #24 is a 12-year-old chocolate sweetheart looking for a loving forever home to spend her golden years. After sadly losing her owner, this gentle girl is hoping to find a cozy place — and kind people — to call her own again.

At around 70 pounds, Piper is a quiet, dignified companion with a heart full of love. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs, adores people, and has excellent house manners. She is completely housebroken and crate-trained, although she does not need a crate since she behaves beautifully in the home.

Piper knows “sit” and does her best to “shake,” though her back legs can be a little wobbly at times. One of her adorable quirks is carrying her food bowl around the house, much to her foster mom’s amusement!

Piper is the kind of dog who simply wants love, comfort, and a soft place to rest her head. She would make a wonderful companion for someone looking to open their heart to a sweet senior girl.
