Izzy #11 is an 8-year-old chocolate Lab mix with the perfect balance of sweetness and fun! After the heartbreaking loss of her owner, Izzy and her mom, Piper, found themselves searching for a new place to call home. While they are enjoying the love and comfort of their foster home, Izzy would love a forever family of her own — either with Piper or separately.

At around 70 pounds, Izzy is still playful, active, and full of personality! She loves other dogs, adores people, and is wonderfully well-mannered in the home. She is completely housebroken and crate-trained, although she does not need a crate because she has such great house manners.

Izzy is a smart girl who knows “sit,” “shake,” and “stay.” She absolutely loves playing fetch and will happily chase any ball you throw her way — although fair warning, some balls may not survive her enthusiasm!

One of Izzy’s favorite things in the world is water. She loves swimming so much that she sometimes forgets to stop, so she does best with a little supervision during swim time.

Izzy is a loving, loyal companion with a playful spirit and a big heart. She is ready to spend her next chapter surrounded by love, belly rubs, tennis balls, and maybe even a swimming pool.
