This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to New England shortly with no additional travel costs. The long distance adoption process includes talking to the foster they are living with in the south. Roughly 90% of our dogs are successfully long distance adopted and 10% adopted locally.

She's ready to strike a pose! Meet Gigi Hadid, a 1-year-old Chocolate Lab/Collie mix, weighing 38 pounds (as of 6/30/26). Every supermodel has their humble beginnings to eventually brag about on TV and this girl is no exception! Gigi was living like a troll under a bridge in Tennessee for two months and was rescued just in time to miss a massive heat wave! Now, she's safe and wanting to live it up in your stylish home full of love and air conditioning!

Gigi can be a little shy at first, but who can blame her? Luckily, it only takes a few treats and pets to get her to warm right up and turn into a little snuggle bug! But it does help if you have a runway in your home. With a dressing room. And designer clothes. And maybe her favorite snack on hand? Just saying.

Gigi is still an energetic puppy, but she is house-trained and working on crate training. Even with all her spirit, she has a good off-switch and
knows when its time to relax with a movie and foot massage. By you, of course. She is just learning to play fetch (and keeping all her legs going in the right direction!), but she is sure to be a pro in no time. When she's not gracing the cover of magazines with her adorable smile, Gigi enjoys walking and exploring the outdoors. She's already doing well with loose-leash walking and is eager to learn new tricks, especially for a snack!

This lovable little girl will react to small critters while outside, but has shown no aggression or aversion to other people or dogs. She hasn't met cats, but has had some short interactions with kids and has done well. She would be great in a family as a solo dog or with other canine companions. After being dumped on the street and bounced around, she is still working on some separation anxiety, but she hopes you'll have patience with her! Her foster says, "You will never see a cuter bridge troll in your life!" And they're absolutely right!
