Tessa - Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever and Labrador Retriever Dog for Adoption in Andover, Massachusetts

This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to New England shortly with no additional travel costs. The long distance adoption process includes talking to the foster they are living with in the south. Roughly 90% of our dogs are successfully long distance adopted and 10% adopted locally.

Meet Tessa, a 1-year-old Duck Tolling Retriever / Lab mix, weighing 50 pounds (as of 8/11/26). Found as a stray in Tennessee, Tessa can't wait to cozy on up to you and make you fall in love! Even better, she wrote her own bio:

"Hiya! I'm Tessa, a young pup with a heart so full of love, even the Care Bears would be jealous! I spend my days dreaming of a forever home where I can share my sweet, mellow nature (for a small fee of course). I adore playing with my toys and cuddling up close for some gentle affection. My friendly demeanor makes me a great companion for any loving and active family. They say I'm a people pleaser, but is that so bad? The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application.
