Total Adoption Fee: $695
This includes our standard adoption fee of $395 plus an additional required $300 tax-deductible donation. Why the additional donation? Dogs with highly desirable traits-such as low-shedding coats and popular breeds-help us fund lifesaving care for dogs who need it most, including nursing moms, imaging and surgeries for dogs with traumatic injuries, and medications for those requiring lifesaving heartworm treatments. Your generosity makes this possible!

Verdandi is named for one of the Norse goddesses of Fate, her name means Present. She is a little shy when she first meets you but then is all in. Every morning Verdandi greets us with wiggles and jumps of joy from her crate. She was so excited when she finally climbed onto the couch on her own to sit on our lap (or chest, or face!) and share kisses. Verdandi loves water and has been spotted sitting in her water bowl when the puppy pool is unavailable. She loves to watch everything & help plan jailbreaks. We couldn't figure out how her sister kept getting out of the whelping pen until we caught Verdandi on video helping lift and push her out! Verdandi's favorite toys are plushies, preferably one she can wrestle with other dogs for. She has met adults and kids of all ages, as well as other dogs & cats and gets along with them all.
