Custard is a friendly, happy pup who loves people and is always ready for fun. He absolutely adores toys, especially balls, and can happily spend hours playing with his favorite humans. One of his funniest quirks is that he loves to play like a little bull-wave a piece of cloth in front of him and he'll come charging over, ready for the game!
While Custard has plenty of playful energy, he's also wonderfully adaptable. If you're in the mood for an active day of play, he'll happily keep up. If you'd rather spend the day relaxing, he'll gladly curl up beside you and snooze the day away. He truly loves being with his people and has all the makings of a classic velcro dog without being fussy.
When playtime is over, Custard transforms into the ultimate cuddle companion. He loves lap snuggles, ear scratches, and being close to his humans. His favorite place to sleep is right next to you, soaking up all the love and attention he can get.
Custard already knows "sit" and "gentle" when taking treats, and he's beginning to understand "no." He's still a young pup and will benefit from continued training, but he's eager to learn and loves interacting with people.
He's curious about other dogs and enjoys watching them, though he hasn't had the chance to socialize directly with them yet. He has not been introduced to cats or children at this time. Custard enjoys water, and while car rides aren't his favorite activity, he's a fantastic passenger who usually settles down and naps for the trip.
