Big and beautiful - two of the best words to describe this gorgeous girl!! Anastasia is a young adult Saint Bernard mix (or maybe full Saint). She is as sweet as they come and is ready to find her family so she can shower them with love - and maybe a little slobber. With her beautiful and soft brown and white coat, Anastasia is all about cuddles and pets. She gets along with other dogs, walks well on a leash, and has so much love to share. At about 106lbs, this big girl has some pounds to gain and would love to head to a family who is either used to her breed or is at least used to large dogs.

In her foster home, Anastasia showed really just how much of a people-person (people-dog?) she was. She followed her foster everywhere, even to the bathroom, as she doesn't like for you to be out of sight. Anastasia even got to ride along to work, and she enjoys meeting new people, women more so than men, but anyone willing to rub her belly will soon become a friend! This gal does great in a crate, if you have one big enough, but she'd much rather be nearby, and she's happy to rest near her humans as long as her personal fan is blowing on her. Although she does well with cats, they can sometimes get frightened when she's in an extra playful mood and running around the house.

Anastasia has excellent potty manners and sleeps through the night. She understands 'come', knows how to 'shake', and is working on 'sit' and stay'. She rides well in the car, and did we mention she loves belly rubs? Stop by and meet this girl to see what all the fuss is about! We're sure you'll fall in love like we have.

ABOUT: SAINT BERNARD DOG BREED

The Saint Bernard is a large and gentle dog breed known for its loyalty, affectionate nature, and impressive strength. Originating from the Swiss Alps, these dogs were historically used as rescue dogs due to their keen sense of smell and ability to navigate through harsh terrain. With their iconic droopy jowls, expressive eyes, and massive build, Saint Bernards make wonderful family pets, often forming strong bonds with children and adults alike. Their calm demeanor and easygoing attitude make them a favored choice for those seeking a devoted and loving companion.
