Great things come in small packages and that is certainly the case with Tommy - he is 8 lbs of sweetness and beyond adorable! He arrived in the foster's home full of confidence and with the most amazing house manners. He never once tried to mark inside the house, and he's had no accidents during his stay in foster when kept on a schedule. He has also been left out in the house with his foster siblings when the foster has been gone a couple of hours, and he has done great. His foster has kept him on a schedule for walks, going out in the morning, lunch, and dinner time. This little guy loves to explore while on his walks and smell all the grass, so your walks will be slow and leisurely. Although it's not necessary, Tommy would be in heaven if he had a small fenced yard to explore all on his own. He sleeps in his crate at night, however he will complain for a few minutes before he settles down. He would much prefer to share the bed with his person if you are so inclined. Tommy is a loving little boy and who is happy to relax next to you and enjoy all the belly and feet rubs you are willing to give him. As you move around the house, you will have a little shadow as Tommy always wants to know where his people are and what they are doing.

Tommy gets along great with his canine foster brother and sister, who are about twice his size, enjoying when they can all play and romp together. He has also discovered toys, and he loves small toys or a chewable antler or cow hoof. Sometimes, it's just too much trouble to pull toys out of the toy box, so you just have to get in the toy box and play with them all! During daily walks, Tommy never barked at people or other dogs encountered along the way, even if they barked at him. He's not a fan of loud vehicles so best to avoid them if possible. He has not had any real exposure to children in the foster's home, however his foster believes he would do fine with children if they are old enough to be gentle with him.

Tommy has been an amazing guest in his foster home, and now he is ready to find his forever family to give him all the love and attention he deserves! It will be difficult for anyone not to fall in love with his beautiful little face and personality. Make an appointment to meet him today!
