This includes our standard adoption fee of $395 plus an additional required $500 tax-deductible donation. Why the additional donation? Dogs with highly desirable traits-such as low-shedding coats and popular breeds-help us fund lifesaving care for dogs who need it most, including nursing moms, imaging and surgeries for dogs with traumatic injuries, and medications for those requiring lifesaving heartworm treatments. Your generosity makes this possible!

Meet Fusilli, a 10-15 lb bundle of sweetness who is part poodle/terrier/retriever mix and 100% pure love! If you're looking for a devoted companion who will ensure you never have a lonely moment, Fusilli is your guy. He is a total "softie" in every sense of the word-he loves soft plush toys, cozy beds, and gentle routines. True to his name, he is as comforting and delightful as a warm bowl of pasta!

Fusilli is a big hugger and a big kisser! He loves to show his humans affection with lots of sweet licks and prefers to follow you everywhere like a loyal little shadow. He is the cutest nest-builder, turning his crate into his own cozy sanctuary. He has a hilariously adorable habit of collecting things he loves-his favorite plushies, light slippers, and clothes with your scent-and carefully carrying them back to keep them safe in his "home". Very low-maintenance, he is a remarkably quiet, gentle pup who doesn't create fuss and is wonderfully easy to live with. He isn't reactive, volatile, or a big barker. Outdoor potty breaks are an art form for him! He likes to take a solid five minutes sniffing around to find the exact right, comfortable spot before doing his business. When it comes to new strangers or other dogs, Fusilli is shy rather than aggressive or loud. He simply takes a polite step back, trots over to his human for safety, and keeps a respectful distance. He'd do best with a patient adopter who lets him approach new things at his own comfortable pace.

A gentle, patient Space: Fusilli thrives in a quiet, calm home. Loud noises, sudden changes, or rough play aren't his vibe. A very companion-focused pup, Fusilli thrives when his human is nearby. He even prefers company while he eats-he literally won't eat unless his favorite person is in the room! His future adopter should be ready to help him build confidence around mealtime and alone time.
