Foster insights/backstory:
Bruno may be tiny, but this little gentleman has enough love packed into his little body to completely steal your heart. From the moment he feels safe, Bruno becomes the ultimate Velcro companion — happiest curled up in your lap, tucked into a soft blanket, or being carried around like the little prince he knows he is.

Need to run errands? Bruno is ready. Trip to a pet-friendly store? He’s already waiting by the door. Self-care day? Bruno will happily supervise your nail appointment from the comfort of your lap while silently judging your colour choices in the cutest way possible.

This sweet boy absolutely adores his people and forms strong bonds very quickly. He thrives with calm, patient humans who understand that small dogs can have big feelings too. Bruno appreciates slow introductions with new people and likes to warm up at his own pace, but once you’re in his circle, you’ll have a loyal little shadow who just wants to be close to you at all times.

Bruno is house trained, rides wonderfully in the car, walks nicely on leash, and is overall a calm, low-energy companion. He is currently working on some separation anxiety because he truly loves being with his person, but he continues to make great progress with routine and consistency.

While Bruno is good with other dogs, humans are definitely his favourite. He would do best in a quieter home with adults or older, respectful children who understand the importance of giving him space when he needs it. Younger children make him uncomfortable, especially when they are loud or unpredictable, so a calm environment will help him feel safe and secure.

One of Bruno’s cutest little quirks is his special word: “Up!” The second he hears it, he knows cuddles are coming and eagerly waits to be scooped into your arms. Smart, affectionate, gentle, and incredibly devoted, Bruno is the perfect companion for someone looking for a loyal best friend who will love them with his whole heart.
