Pippa - Chihuahua and Miniature Pinscher Dog for Adoption in Fairfield, Connecticut

Hi there! I am a pretty little Chihuahua/MinPin mix named Pippa. I am about 1-1/2 years old, weigh just 12 lbs, and I was pregnant and had a litter of puppies during my stay at the Devine, Texas Animal Shelter. Fast forward several months, and I have been living in a foster home and doing great. I am spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, have veterinary records, and I’m ready to leave Texas behind to find my future as someone's beloved forever dog.

My foster mom reports that I am a sweet little lap dog who adores her people, loves to share kisses, and on special occasions, I smile! I get along with other dogs, but they aren't my focus, and I am not the playmate type of girl anyway. I enjoy following you around the house, and just being near you makes me happy; otherwise, I can be a bit of a loner, occasionally seeking the company of one of my doggy housemates. I am a good girl in the house, calm and quiet, already housebroken, and I do okay in a crate for short periods. I have free-range status in my foster home because I am trustworthy, and while my foster mom is away, I curl up on the couch and wait for her return. At night, I sleep in her bed and hope to get the same doggy perks with my forever family. Overall, I am a wonderful little companion dog looking for love and a peaceful lifestyle.
