My story... I was running down the street happily chasing someone on a bicycle when a Devine, Texas police officer apprehended me. As expected, I was sent to doggy jail, and when nobody stepped up to claim me, I was bailed out by a lady who fosters dogs for 4 Little Paws Rescue. These days, I am having fun playing with the other foster dogs while getting ready to find a forever home; i.e., vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, preventatives, vet records, and everything needed to leave Texas behind.

My name is Jack Daniels, or Jack for short, and I am a little 12-lb, 1.5-year-old Russell-type Terrier mix with a wiry coat and a happy attitude. I am friendly with people, a wee bit shy at first, and I'm great with other dogs. I love to play, and I enjoy being the activities director with my doggy friends, but I'm not rude about it; I just happen to know all the funnest games to play! I'm simply a confident boy with lots of youthful energy and sweetness all rolled into an adorable scruffy little package. I should let you know that I hate being kept in a crate and will complain about it. But I'm well-behaved and housebroken when left to roam freely in my foster home. Inquire about me today!
