Meet Doug! This 4-5 year old, 11lb cutie came to us after being given to a partner by his former owner. He was well loved but they simply had no resources to properly care for a pup, so... here he is!
His foster dad says:
"From the first few minutes we brought him home he's been very cuddly and sweet. He jumps into your lap as soon as you sit down and loves to be in your arms. He gets very attached and just wants to be around you so he’s a little timid when you leave but settles quickly. While you're gone, he just lays around on the couch.
He's good with other dogs his size but is a little unsure about rambunctious large dogs. He would love another small companion but is totally content as an only dog also!"
Doug was treated for Heartworm in TX and tested negative after and before leaving to come up North!
