The first day Hamish arrived, I was walking him and woman smiled at him and said “he has a peaceful mind”. His heart really is so pure. He wants nothing more than to be by your side or playing with another dog. He’s great on leash, almost never pulling unless he’s just so excited to see another dog that he wants to greet. If saying hello isn’t ok, you can quickly get him to disengage.
He LOVES toys and loves to play fetch/ tug of war but never gets too aggressive. I think he would really love to be in a home with another playful dog or at least be an avid dog park attendee.
He knows sit and shake and is super treat motivated to learn new things. He’s also had zero accidents since arriving and does his business as soon as I let him out in the backyard. While he absolutely does not love being crated, he also is on his best behavior and doesn’t need to be worried about when left alone. He doesn’t chew or get into anything, just patiently waits for your return.
Hamish is also so wonderful meeting new people, he greets everyone with a loose body and wagging tail. I think any family would be lucky to have him.
