Meet Cluck!
If you've been following Cluck's journey, you already know what an incredible transformation she's made.
When Cluck first came to Mac's Mission, she was found as a stray suffering from severe demodex mange, entropion (a painful condition where the eyelid rolls inward), and a grade 2 heart murmur. Thanks to the compassionate care of our veterinary team and the generosity of our partners at the 15/10 Foundation, who sponsored her medical care, Cluck has made an amazing recovery. She has now had both her spay and entropion surgery and is thriving!
Now it's time for the best part...finding her forever family.
We believe Cluck is a Smooth Fox Terrier mix, and she has all the classic terrier personality you could ask for-smart, playful, goofy, and full of life!
Cluck's foster mom says she's pure love and joy. She adores everyone she meets, loves other dogs, and is happiest when she's curled up in your lap soaking up all the pets and cuddles she can get. If you sit down, don't be surprised if she decides your lap belongs to her!
Her favorite things include:
Laying in the sunshine
Chew bones
Toys
Chasing her foster sisters around the yard
Mealtime (she's very food motivated!)
She's still a little awkward and all legs, which somehow makes her even more adorable. As her confidence grows, so does her coordination, and watching her personality blossom has been such a joy.
Cluck is doing wonderfully with house training and has only had a few accidents. With a consistent routine, she should be fully house trained in no time. She's incredibly attentive, eager to please, and because she's so food motivated, training comes naturally to her.
Her foster mom summed it up perfectly:
"She's really the perfect dog."
