Meet Maya- our happy and sweet girl!
Maya is a 6-year-old cattle dog mix looking for a new family after the heartbreaking loss of her beloved owner. She’s ready to find someone to love and a home she can call her own again.
Sweet, easygoing, and full of love, Maya is as wonderful as they come! She previously lived with other dogs, cats, and children, so she has experience being part of a family. She knows her basic commands, including “sit,” “stay,” and “drop,” and she’s always happy to enjoy her favorite things: playing with toys, going for walks, and soaking up attention from her people.
Maya will happily roll
Over to soak up some belly rubs. When she gets excited, her whole body joins in with the happiest little wiggle.
Maya is house-trained, and seems to be well mannered.
Maya has so much love left to give. She’s lost her first family, and now she’s hoping for a second chance at forever. Could you be the one to give this sweet girl the happy ending she deserves? Think Maya is your perfect match? Apply to meet Maya today!
Visit STAF.org for more information on our adoption process. *** Email adoptadog@STAF.org for next steps! ***
All of our animals are spayed/neutered and current on shots.
We do not do same-day adoptions. You will be asked to return for at least one follow-up visit, then take the dog home for a trial period before officially adopting.
You must be 21 years or older to adopt from STAF.
Due in part to increasing coyote activity/incidents in the area and the difficulty of predicting how a dog will respond to invisible fence training, we can not adopt to homes with invisible fences.
We do request vet and personal references.
We can facilitate adoptions within a 30-mile radius of our Cincinnati-based shelter.
Adoption through STAF includes full vetting of the dogs, including a spay/neuter at 6 months (female)/9month (male) maximum.
