Big heart, playful spirit, and all the energy.

I am very high energy and playful, very affectionate, very social, but also very skittish. I love to explore the world, especially all the smells, but I need someone to be patient with me when I feel unsure. I adore people, I want to meet them all. I love being a part of a pack and would be very happy with a family that wants to spend time with me.

General Socialization Notes:
I am potty trained, I don't chew on things (except my sticks and toys), and I can respect boundaries, but I do always want to be involved in what's going on in the house. I love to cuddle and I am used to laying on laps to nap on the couch and sleep close to my people. My prey drive is very strong and I will always let you know when there are squirrels, rabbits, or deer. I can be a bit unsure at times, outside in the world, so I need help feeling more confident.

Does Ahsoka like other animals?
I do love other dogs, however I have been attacked in the past and I still struggle with my confidence when meeting other dogs. I have struggled with leash reactivity for the past few years but I'm working on that and showing progress. I do want to play with other dogs again (chase and boxing with other dogs used to be my favorite things in the world) and I'd love to rebuild my confidence.

Does Ahsoka like children?
I tend to be either overly excited or unsure of small children. Generally I've had very little interaction with them so I may do best with older children.

Favorite Toys:
My favorite toy outside is playing fetch with the chuck-it ball. Inside I love various squeaky and/or rope toys; my current favorite is my green hippo. I also enjoy chewing on stick toys, especially when I know I'm about to get to go on a walk and I need to get out some energy while my people get ready.

Ideal Forever Home:
I'd love a family that wants to spend time with me and to help build my confidence and understand me. I may do best as an only dog but continue to build my confidence around other dogs. I'd also really enjoy a yard. I'd do best with older children too. I can't wait to meet my forever family!
