Hi, I'm Louie! A big-hearted, playful and cuddly pup looking for his forever family!

I'm a sweet, affectionate, and playful guy who really loves my people. I'm a total cuddle bug and love being close to my humans. I also love to play and can always find a way to make things fun! I like making my humans happy, learning new things and I love positive attention and praise. I already know my basic cues and I'm crate trained and house trained.

General Socialization Notes:
I'm a friendly guy who enjoys spending time with people, and I'm good with other dogs. I love getting to play and interact with my dog friends big and small. I can be pretty enthusiastic because I'm excited to see people and have fun, so I'm continuing to work on things like calm greetings and impulse control. I'm smart, eager to please, and very motivated by my people, which makes training fun for me!

Does Louie like other animals?
I like dogs and have done well around other dogs of all sizes. I enjoy having dog friends and playing with them. I haven't met cats so I'm not sure how we are together. I would do best in a home without livestock.

Does Louie like children?
Yes! I love people and enjoy being around children. I'm affectionate, playful, and love attention. Since I'm a strong and energetic guy, my family will want to supervise me around younger kids and help me practice being calm when I get excited.

Favorite Toys:
I love to play! I love to chew but not in a destructive way. I know the difference between what is mine and others so having hard chew toys like bones, ropes, and Kongs around keep me busy.

Ideal Forever Home:
My ideal forever home is one where I can really be part of the family. I want people who will play with me, take me on adventures, give me lots of love, and let me cuddle with them afterward. I'd love a family who enjoys working with me and will continue my positive-reinforcement training. I'm already crate trained, house trained, know my basic cues, and really want to make my people happy, so I'm excited to keep learning! I'd do best with a family that understands my energy and strength and will provide me with exercise, playtime, structure, and lots of affection. I have a lot of love to give, and all I'm looking for is someone who will give me the chance to be their best friend.
