Jasper - Golden Retriever and Poodle Dog for Adoption in Colorado Springs, Colorado

I'm a big, goofy shadow with a heart of gold!

I am a goofy, affectionate dog who believes that wherever you are, that's where I should be! I love being by your side and joining in on whatever you're doing. I especially enjoy going for walks and visiting the dog park where I can stretch my long legs and show off my playful side. I am a sweet, social guy who loves having canine friends and would happily spend my day playing and hanging out with my people.

General Socialization Notes:
I am a very social guy! I am house-trained and kennel-trained, although I am not a big fan of spending time in my kennel. I will let you know when someone is at the door. I am still working on understanding the concept of personal space and can be a little enthusiastic about staying close to my humans. My recall is also a work in progress, so continued practice with coming when called will help me become an even better adventure buddy.

Does Jasper like other animals?
Absolutely! I am amazing with both dogs and cats. I especially love playing with other dogs and would happily make new canine friends. One funny exception: if there's a fence between me and another animal, I may have some things to say and I will bark. Once the barrier is gone, though, I am back to being my friendly self!

Does Jasper like children?
Yes!!! I would just need some supervision if they are small children because I can get very excited because I love them so much.

Favorite Toys:
So far, I haven't found a toy that really speaks to him. My favorite "toy" may just be another dog! I absolutely love playing and romping around with my canine friends.

Ideal Forever Home:
I'd love a family to go on adventures with and spend quality time with. I could live with another dog or be the only dog. Cats are fine too! I'm an all around great pup who can't wait to meet my forever family!
