Spike - lovingly called Petey by the kids because he looks just like Petey from Little Rascals, is an absolute heart-stealer.

Petey is kennel trained, very sweet, and already knows sit. He is treat motivated and easy to train, with just a bit of playful puppy energy that settles quickly into cuddle mode. His favorite things are people, playtime, and snuggles.

Petey is great with kids and gets along well with dogs of all sizes. He loves fetch and brings a goofy, joyful energy wherever he goes.

With his adorable freckled ear and loving personality, Petey is ready to bring joy to a forever family

*We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas to your state or a neighboring state. These are ground transports using third party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360, and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport.

*Our adoption fees are based on the vetting we put into each dog. Fees for puppies (under 12 months) are higher because they require more vetting than dogs over 1 year.

*Listed breed is based on a best guess estimation by rescue and veterinary staff; DNA tests are not included in adoption.

*Our adopters are eligible to receive 50% off training with Curbed Behaviors Dog Training for programs booked within 30 days of adoption, and 25% off programs booked within 60-90 days of adoption.
