Ringo is a gentle, sweet boy who is learning that the world can be a safe and loving place. He came to us with scars that hint at a difficult past, but every day he shows us more of his soft, affectionate personality.

Ringo is crate trained, house trained, and loves treats, attention, and gentle affection. He is a smart boy with wonderful training potential and is already making steady progress in his foster home.

Because Ringo likely missed out on socialization early in life, some new experiences can still feel scary to him. He is especially unsure about the leash, brushing, and baths, but he is improving with patience, kindness, and positive reinforcement.

Ringo would do best with a patient adopter who understands that confidence takes time. He doesn't need someone perfect... just someone gentle, consistent, and willing to help him keep blossoming.

This sweet boy has already come so far, and he is ready for a forever home where he can finally feel safe, loved, and wanted.

*We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas to your state or a neighboring state. These are ground transports using third party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360, and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport.

*Our adoption fees are based on the vetting we put into each dog. Fees for puppies (under 12 months) are higher because they require more vetting than dogs over 1 year.

*Listed breed and age are based on a best guess estimation by rescue and veterinary staff; DNA tests are not included in adoption.

*Our adopters are eligible to receive 50% off training with Curbed Behaviors Dog Training for programs booked within 30 days of adoption, and 25% off programs booked within 60-90 days of adoption.

*All of our adopters are invited to join our Alum Pupdates Facebook group, to share their story and their adorable pup with fellow Sunnyside Street Dogs adopters!
