Oscar is one of those dogs who quietly works his way into your heart before you even realize it. Since settling into foster care, this handsome brindle boy has been gaining confidence every day - and it's been so rewarding to watch him start to relax and enjoy life.

Oscar is doing wonderfully in his foster home. He is potty trained with no accidents, gets along well with the other dogs, and has done great with kids too. Once he feels comfortable, his sweet and gentle personality really starts to shine through.

As for his breed mix... your guess is as good as ours! We see a little Chihuahua, maybe some Boston Terrier, possibly some terrier mixed in, and then there's that slightly longer body that keeps everyone guessing. Whatever combination created Oscar, it absolutely worked.

And then there's his adorable little underbite - the kind that gives him an expression that is equal parts concerned, charming, and completely irresistible.

He's the kind of dog who doesn't need to be the center of attention to be special. Oscar is simply a really good dog looking for a family to call his own.

All Heart of America Humane Society dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations. Adoption fee $250.
