Meet Stacy!
Stacy is a 13-pound sweetheart with a big love for blankets, cuddles, and being close to her people. She will turn 5 years old on October 31.
After her owner moved into a nursing home, Stacy found herself looking for a new family to love. While change can be hard, she has settled into foster care beautifully and is showing everyone what a wonderful companion she is.
Stacy's favorite place is wherever her person is. She loves being held, enjoys snuggling with visitors, and is happiest when she can curl up next to someone she loves. When it's time for a nap, don't be surprised if she disappears under a blanket-it's her favorite way to sleep!
Since arriving in foster care, Stacy has done very well with house training. She has access to a doggie door and has quickly learned the routine. She's proving that with consistency and the right setup, she's eager to succeed.
Stacy currently lives with several larger dogs and gets along well with them, but we think she may enjoy a quieter home where she can relax and soak up plenty of one-on-one attention. She doesn't pay much attention to the resident cat and peacefully coexists alongside feline friends.
Like many dogs who enjoyed plenty of people food in the past, Stacy recently had a dental cleaning and several teeth removed. She has recovered well and doesn't let her missing teeth slow her down one bit.

Our dogs are in foster homes across the KC metro. We do not have a shelter facility.
