Marigold has spent enough time putting everyone else first. This beautiful 47-pound Border Collie mix, estimated to be around 112 years old, came into rescue with her 10 puppies after doing whatever it took to keep her family safe. She arrived far too thin and carrying scars from the life she had been forced to survive, but somehow, through all of it, she never lost her sweetness.
Now, the puppies are grown and Marigold's mom duties are officially over. Her next assignment? Absolutely nothing. She has earned the right to sleep late, enjoy regular meals, accept compliments, and spend her days being adored. We think she is more than qualified.
Marigold is loving, social, and wonderfully sweet. She has the kind of personality that makes you wonder how someone so gentle managed to survive such a difficult chapter. She loves people, enjoys being part of the action, and seems ready to embrace every good thing life has to offer.
And yes, her name is Marigold, which feels entirely appropriate. Like the flower, she has managed to keep growing despite difficult conditions—and now that she has the care and safety she deserves, she is blooming beautifully. Her past may have left a few marks, but it certainly didn't define her.
Today, Marigold is healthy, happy, and ready for the next phase of her life. No more worrying about where the next meal comes from. No more putting everyone else's needs ahead of her own. Just soft beds, full bowls, loving people, and the chance to finally be someone's beloved companion.
Marigold is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and negative for heartworm and tick disease on her 4DX test. She has fought hard to get here, and now she is ready for the easy part: finding a family who will love her for the rest of her life.
If you're looking for a dog with a heart as beautiful as her face and a spirit that has survived more than anyone should have to, Marigold is ready to bloom in your life.
