Puppy Foster or foster to adopt homes Needed!

Clover and Silas were "at risk" in a high kill shelter and we couldn't let them stay and possibly be put to sleep. These Border Collie mix pups are about 6 months old, 20-35#. They will likely be 50-60# when full grown. Are you ready to give some love to a needy pup?

Due to their size, activity level and age, foster to adopt requirements are:

-Living within 80 miles of Adams, NY.
-Having previous/current pets in annually at a local veterinary office and up to date on vaccines as well as spay/neutered.
-Being able to bring each back to our vets office in Adams for additional care, if needed, prior to adoption. After adoption, we recommend taking them to your current vet to be established.
-They are puppies so they will likely be good with children, dogs and cats.
-Willing to have current family members come to a meet and greet to meet the pet and be sure an acceptable match.
-Having time available to care for, socialize and start the training of a new pet.

An adoption donation of $500 is being asked for each, if you choose to adopt, but fostering is free. They had their initial vet check, are current on vaccines, dewormings and prescription flea and tick medications and they have been spayed/neutered.

The first step in our adoption process is the veterinary reference check so please be sure to call your veterinarian's office first thing when you submit your application, so we can get this step out of the way.

Foster to adopt pets are limited to an 80 mile radius of Adams, NY and pets must be taken to our vets office for care until adoption.

All pets must be viewed in person by all family members prior to adoption; animals will not be shipped to their new homes.
