--Needs to be an only pet--
Foster to adopt home needed!
Loki is a purebred French Bulldog who will be 2 years old on June 10th. He was with his current owner since he was just 3 months old but hadn't been getting along with the other dogs in the house and things were escalating to the point that he needed to be rehomed. Animal aggression is not something that Loki needs to be trained out of him, he needs to be an only pet and we will not rehome him with someone with other pets in the home. He is not a fan of other pets and that's ok.
Loki is a very affectionate boy and loves cuddles and just being around his people. He is all about lounging on the couch or hanging out in the garage to even being outside on adventures around the property. He has made friends with the Llama at his fosters farm but seems to want to hunt the smaller prey including the barn cat who is smart enough to keep his distance.
Loki will stand in the tub for bath time, but he will let you know he’s not happy about it by howling. He lets his foster wipe out his tail fold and do other typical Frenchie maintenance as well.
Loki’s only “flaw” is that he needs to be the only animal in the house. He does not do well with most other dogs or cats, so he is being placed into a pet free home only, no exceptions.
Loki is up to date on shots and is neutered. He is house trained, crate trained and potty trained but will need help adjusting to a new schedule in a new home and may have some accidents until he learns the new routine. He is acclimated to a fenced yard and would do best with one in a new home as well since he likes to go for a night time potty break.
Loki would do best with an owner familiar with the breed since he has a alot of typical Frenchie behaviors and health needs. These are wonderful little comedians of the dog world but they can be head strong and a bit dominant despite their compact size.
If we can find him a foster to adopt home, meeting the above criteria, it would make his foster mom very happy. She loves this little guy but his Frenchie energy is keeping her on her toes and she would like to go back to being retired! Let's get this boy the home he deserves
Fostering is free, but if you choose to adopt, our normal $450 adoption fee will apply.
