Bailey - Border Collie and Australian Cattle Dog Blue Heeler Dog for Adoption in Brookings, South Dakota

Meet Bailey!
Bailey is an 11-year-old black-and-white Heeler/Border Collie mix who has perfected the art of enjoying her golden years! This sweet girl is happiest taking life at a slower pace, lounging around, and soaking up the simple pleasures of a cozy day. She may be a little older, but she still has plenty of love to give and would love a home where she can relax, feel safe, and enjoy all the affection she deserves.
We're still getting to know how Bailey feels about other dogs, cats, and children, so those introductions will need to be approached thoughtfully. If you're looking for a sweet senior companion to share quiet afternoons and cozy evenings with, Bailey might just be your girl!

Since many of our adoptable dogs are in foster homes, appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt!

Our adoption fees include the following: all of our dogs/puppies are current on vaccinations (DHPP and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, heartworm tested and current on preventative, microchipped, treated for fleas/ticks and are spayed or neutered. Our large dog adoption fee is generally $175 + tax. Our small dog and puppy adoption fee is generally $300+ tax. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances. Due to space limitations, we do not hold dogs.

Because we are on a busy street, we require that all dogs leaving the shelter be in a carrier or on leash. All pets remain up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee paid.
