DESCRIPTION
Come meet Mutton!
Mutton is a 7-year-old Heeler mix who has spent nearly a year in our care while undergoing treatment for heartworm. The good news is that he’s officially heartworm-free! He does have a grade 4 heart murmur that will need continued monitoring, but this sweet boy is ready to find a loving home of his own.
Mutton is an affectionate little guy who enjoys being groomed, going for car rides, and, of course, getting treats! In fact, he has a pretty entertaining way of asking for them — he’ll even sit up like a little person. Who could resist that? He’s fully potty trained, knows a few tricks, and has lived with other small dogs, making him a great little companion for the right home.
After spending so much time waiting for his next chapter, Mutton is ready to trade shelter life for cozy cuddles, car rides, and a family to call his own. Could you be the one to give this deserving boy his happily ever after?
Since many of our adoptable dogs are in foster homes, appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt!
Our adoption fees include the following: all of our dogs/puppies are current on vaccinations (DHPP and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, heartworm tested and current on preventative, microchipped, treated for fleas/ticks and are spayed or neutered. Our large dog adoption fee is generally $175 + tax. Our small dog and puppy adoption fee is generally $300+ tax. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances. Due to space limitations, we do not hold dogs.
Because we are on a busy street, we require that all dogs leaving the shelter be in a carrier or on leash. All pets remain up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee paid.
