Meet Delilah ("Lila"): A fully house-trained, 4-year-old sweetheart who is good with kids and adults, leash-ready, and looking for a solo-pet home to shower with love.

Quiet, easy-going, and a total "people person."

She’s lost 12 lbs and is feeling fabulous (check out her progress pics!).

Best as an only pet; hasn't met cats yet (but we can test!).

Why You’ll Love "Lila"

Lila is full of love. She is excellent in the car and walks like a pro on a leash. If you’re looking for a walking buddy, she’s your girl—she loves the outdoors just as much as she loves getting attention at home.

She is a smart cookie who has already mastered "sit" and "wait." Whether it’s men, women, or children, Lila is a friend to every human she meets. Because she doesn't always want to share the spotlight with other dogs, she’s looking for a dedicated home where she can be the queen of the castle.

Lila is "low maintenance" in the best way. She is mostly quiet (unless there is a good reason not to be!), stays on a steady prevention schedule, and is in great physical shape after her successful diet. She is a healthy, happy girl just waiting for a family to call her own.

A note about breeds: Lila’s breed mix is our best guess based on her looks and personality—we haven't done a DNA test, but we have done a 'Snuggle Test' and she passed with flying colors!

The dog you are considering is located in South Mississippi, with transport available (for an additional fee) to approved adopters in the Northeast. That's why she is listed in several cities from the Gulf Coast to Vermont, in case you were
wondering! Virtual meet-and-greets are performed prior to adoption.
