Beth is a survivor. After spending four long years in a kennel environment where she was frequently picked on by more dominant dogs, she is finally looking for a place where she can breathe easy. Because of her past, she is understandably timid, but her gentle nature is clear the moment you sit with her.

Beth is the definition of "mellow." She isn't the type to jump all over you; she’s the type to lean quietly against your leg once you gain her trust. She has spent years being the underdog, so she is looking for a home where she she can love without fear.

She is dog-friendly but prefers low-energy, respectful companions. She would do best without "bully" personalities. She likes car rides and walks well on a leash when she get the chance. She is up to date on vaccines and heartworm negative.

Environment: A quiet home would be a dream for her. She needs a patient adopter who understands that the "real" Beth might take a few weeks to fully emerge from her shell. Once she settles in, she will be the most loyal, soulful companion you could ask for.

We are looking for a stable, loving home for Beth to spend the rest of her years. Fenced in yard preferred for her to have some much needed freedom.
