Say hello to
Baby
, a beautiful 1-year-old Belgian Malinois with a velvety dulce de leche coat and the most striking cocoa-dusted snoot and ears. This lovely girl may be a bit shy at first, but give her a slow, thoughtful introduction and she quickly blossoms into a fun, flirty companion. True to her breed, Baby is a smart cookie - she already knows commands like “sit” and “down” and responds right away, eager to show off her strong skills. She’s not just brains and beauty either - she has a playful spirit and would love a home that can keep her engaged and loved. Baby also showed no reactivity to other dogs at the shelter, so she could make a wonderful addition alongside a current pup with a proper introduction. She has all the makings of a superstar - now she just needs a forever home to help her shine. Could that be with you?
-1 year 1 month old brown Belgian Malinois
-65 pound spayed female
-may need the standard round of shots and preventatives before she can go home with you, but the shelter can likely help with this!
-came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on 3/5/26 as an owner surrender, as their new housing would not allow her to stay
-understandably confused at the shelter, so may come off as a little shy at first - but with a slow thoughtful intro, she’ll be your forever friend
-very devoted and attentive girl, eager to please and show off her smarts and skills; however, b/c she is a strong girly, she may pull on leash, so could use some practice on that (but with treats this should be a breeze!)
-playful with both people and other pups - not reactive to other dogs at all, so could make an excellent pup sibling with the right intros!
